North Shore star safety Chace Calicut will not suit up for the Mustangs this season following an arrest related to a shooting in July.
Furthermore, Calicut has transferred to an alternative school in the area, where he will not be playing high school football in 2025, sources close to the situation confirmed to KPRC 2.
Calicut has been charged with a felony count of aggravated assault.
The football star committed to play college football in the 2026 recruiting class at the University of Georgia on June 27. He is still listed as a hard commit on 247Sports. UGA did not respond when contacted for comment.
