VERNON, Conn. (WFSB) - A 22-year-old man had his bond raised to $400,000 after being accused of putting the lives of construction workers and police officers in danger multiple times.

On August 27th at around 11:05 p.m., several Vernon Police officers with marked patrol vehicles, along with traffic direction flaggers, a DOT worker, and members of a construction crew, were working in the area of Reservoir Road and Mile Hill Road.

22-year-old Aiden Fischer is accused of speeding and recklessly driving his red Ford Mustang through the construction site, endangering the lives of all the workers.

Fischer fled the scene, but was later found in his home.

He was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment 1st Degree, reckless driving, interfering with an officer, speeding in a construction
