NAUGATUCK, Conn. (WTNH) — A Naugatuck man accused of killing his baby in 2022 did not accept a plea deal on Thursday, entering a plea of not guilty, according to the Waterbury Superior Court clerk's office.

Christopher Francisquini allegedly killed his daughter, Camilla, in their Naugatuck home in Nov. 2022. Evidence revealed that he stabbed and dismembered the 11-month-old while her mother was at work at an early morning shift.

Francisquini was on the run from police for two weeks after the murder before he was arrested outside a train station.

Earlier this month, he was offered a plea deal of 40 years. He entered his not guilty plea on Thursday.
