A two-car crash shut down westbound Arapahoe Avenue in the area of 17th Street.

Boulder Fire Rescue Department responded to a call around 12:38 p.m. regarding a crash, according to spokesperson Jamie Barker. One car was smoking, but no fires have been reported, Barker said.

No injuries were reported, Barker said.

The extent of the road closure is not clear. BFR is working to clear the scene, and one car is being towed.
