PETTIS COUNTY, Mo. (KCTV) - A Missouri woman is accused of driving her car at a sheriff’s deputy and then crashing into another car during an incident late Wednesday night.
Pettis County Sheriff Brad Anders says Saline County dispatchers notified joint communications in Pettis County of a wrong way driver heading southbound on U.S. 65 Highway in the northbound lanes of traffic just after 11:15 p.m.
As deputies responded, radar indicated the vehicle was driving head on toward a deputy at 90 miles per hour, Anders said. The deputy evaded the collision.
