JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — More than 60 colleges are represented in Freedom Hall as high school students from across the region visit the Tri-Cities College Fair.

East Tennessee State University has a large presence on Thursday, but staff from dozens of other universities and colleges are gathered to reach out to future students.

"It's a chance for folks in the local community to really explore what after high school options they have," Director of Undergraduate Recruitment Timothy Lewis said. "So we have a big ETSU contingent here, but we have folks from over 60 different institutions from the Midwest, across the Southeast, military-affiliated organizations, all here to help students explore what's out there."
