Four people were killed on Wednesday night in a vehicle crash on Highway 93 south of Ronan, bringing the total number of people killed on Montana roadways over the last two weeks to 11.
According to Lake County sheriff and coroner Don Bell, Lake County 911 began getting multiple reports of a car crash at about 5:36 p.m. on Wednesday. The crash was at mile marker 38.5 in the Post Creek Hill area between Ronan and St. Ignatius.
"Emergency responders arrived at the scene to determine this was a passenger car versus RV crash," Bell said in a press release. "It was determined there were four people in the passenger vehicle and none of them survived the crash. The RV had 10 passengers, and some suffered injuries but all survived."
