Monroeville police are searching for a man charged in connection with a shooting that killed a minor earlier this month.

The department has obtained a warrant for the arrest of Kyle Timothy Salter for the charge of murder, according to a recent release.

The charge follows an ongoing investigation into the fatal shooting which occurred on George H Preyear Road in Monroeville on Aug. 15.

Anyone with information related to the investigation of Salter’s whereabouts has been advised to contact the Monroeville Police Department.
