ATLANTA — An arrest has been made in a shooting last year that left five people injured, including a woman who was critically injured.

18-year-old Noah Williams is accused of being involved in a shootout on Aug. 10, 2024, in the 500 block of Windsor Street, not that far from Rosa L. Burney Park. According to warrants, Williams is accused of shooting a rifle towards the street.

Three teens and two women were hurt in the shooting. Their ages ranged from 15 to 29 years old. The oldest victim, a 29-year-old woman, was initially in critical condition.

The shooting happened a few hours after a peaceful community event celebrating Mechanicsville Day ended.
