Ryan Gosling’s Star Wars film is kicking into hyper-speed. At a Star Wars Celebration event in Tokyo this past April, Shawn Levy and Gosling appeared onstage to officially announce that their upcoming new Star Wars film was titled Star Wars: Starfighter . Months later on August 28, the official Star Wars website revealed the first look at Starfighter along with some major additions to the cast.

“There are many rumors, some true, some not,” the Deadpool & Wolverine director teased about the film at Star Wars Celebration. “This is not a prequel; this is not a sequel. It’s a new adventure.”
