DENVER (KDVR) — The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has introduced its "newest member" of the team, following the passing of its former member.
The agency announced in a post to X that they have welcomed a miniature therapy horse, Hunny B, to the Mounted Patrol Unit.
This comes after a previous post announcing that the team's former miniature therapy horse, Love Bug, passed away on Tuesday, with the sheriff's office honoring Love Bug in the post and thanking her for her service with the unit.
A few hours before Love Bug passed away, the agency said that 3-year-old Hunny B was deputized as an honorary member of the unit.
