NORTH CAROLINA, N.C. – North Carolina plays its first game under NFL coaching great Bill Belichick when it hosts TCU on Labor Day.

Belichick won six Super Bowls as coach of the NFL’s New England Patriots but is a first-time college coach. TCU is coming off a nine-win season and played for the national championship in 2022.
