Corporal Oscar Sprague was killed in the Korean conflict. Unfortunately, his remains were not identified, and his unidentified remains were buried in the "Punch Bowl" in Hawaii.

Thanks to improvements in DNA technology, Corporal Sprague's remains have been identified, and now the family can bury him at the Evergreen Cemetery on Route 1 in Milbridge, Maine, on Wednesday, Sept. 3, at 1 p.m.

The family of Corporal Sprague is inviting all veterans and Mainers to attend this hallowed repatriation and burial of one of Maine's best and bravest. Local VFWs are asking all members who can attend Corporal Sprague's burial to do so. Get our free mobile app
