CLINTON, Iowa (KWQC) - A contractor hit a gas line Thursday morning, leading to the evacuation of a home.

Ameren said they learned about it just before 11 a.m. and crews evacuated a home on South 7th Street and Bluff Boulevard.

The company said it was being repaired and expect to have the problem fixed by 3:30 p.m.
