Trash or Treasure: Stickley chair 'an anomaly'

“My mom was an antiques collector,” Margaret Bohen explained in an email to the column asking for help and an appraisal. “This chair was in our house from the late 1970’s/early 1980s. It is the one chair in the house that she did not allow us to sit on,” she remembers. “I’m not sure where/how she acquired it. My grandmother was an antiques dealer and had a shop in Charlotte, MI. We always had antiques flowing in and out of our house.”
