ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says investigators are seeking help identifying an alleged shoplifter accused of targeting vape shops.

The sheriff says a black male entered the vape shops and snatched items when employees weren’t looking.

“We believe he may have hit several vape shops around Orangeburg,” the sheriff says.

Employees of the Tobacco & Vape shop in the Walmart shopping area on North Road says the person entered their store around 7:20 p.m. Wednesday.

The person is accused of snatching up to about $300 worth if items from the counter before leaving in an older model black Ford Explorer with Georgia plates of RKB6533.
