Report: 2 Abilene residents catch woman inside homes wearing their clothing, asking for underwear 'because she had peed'

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Two Abilene residents allegedly caught a woman inside their homes; one says the suspect was wearing her clothing and the other says she asked for underwear because "she had peed in her pants".

Sarah Summers was booked into the Taylor County Jail Monday on two counts of Burglary of a Habitation in connection to the incidents, which happened in January 2025.

Court documents state that a resident arrived home January 28 and found a suspect, later identified as Summers, wearing her glasses, hoodie, and t-shirt. This suspect told the victim to turn off her phone, but the victim ran to her vehicle, locked herself inside, and called police instead, prompting the suspect to flee. The victim later learned several rings had been stolen.
