Moment thug threatened Bristol shop staff with broken wine bottle

A man who went on a violent spree of crimes against different shops in Bristol has been jailed. James Parsons, 26, of no fixed address, threatened shopkeepers with broken bottles in June this year.

On June 3, Parsons walked into a Spar shop in Easton , where he was confronted by two store workers – a woman in her 80s and her son. You can watch CCTV of the incident at the top of this article.

Her son came to her support and she sustained a small cut to her hand during the incident before Parsons left the store, threw a sign at the glass door and subsequently broke it.
