The 2025 college football season is here, and Duke kicks things off in Week 1 with a home matchup against Elon.

The Blue Devils are playing host to the Phoenix for the second-straight season opener, with Duke winning 26-3 last year in Manny Diaz's debut. It was a game that saw the Duke defense total 16 tackles for loss, its most since 2007, and eight sacks for the first time since 2019.

This year's Duke squad features a fresh look on offense led by Tulane transfer quarterback Darian Mensah under center. The Blue Devils return 14 starters from last year's 9-4 team while bringing in 28 freshman and nine transfers.

Duke is 8-0-1 overall against Elon and is looking for its third-consecutive season-opening victory.
