It has been 45 years since people started running in memory of Terry Fox and his fight against cancer. This year, there are three runs happening in the Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands (TLTI) and the Gananoque area. “We are so happy to be able to band together for this great cause,” said Lisa-Marie Vincent, organizer of the TLTI run. “Whatever run works best for you, you know you are running for the best cause ever – stopping cancer in the name of Terry Fox.
