One of the survivors of the Aug. 27 shooting at a Minneapolis church during a Catholic school’s first Mass of the school year is speaking out about his experience during the ordeal.
Two kids, ages 8 and 10, were killed in the shooting, while 17 other people were injured in the shooting at the Annunciation Catholic School. The shooter has been identified as Robin Westman, 23, a former student at the school.
Javen Willis, 13, is an eighth grader at the school, and survived the shooting. He says he immediately knew something was wrong once he heard gunshots.
