As construction continues at the Ontario Sports Empire , city leaders and Ontario Baseball Club officials are preparing to reveal the team mascot as well as naming rights for the complex’s new stadium.

The Ontario Sports Empire , touted by city officials as the largest sports complex west of the Rockies, features a 4,500-seat minor league stadium with capacity for 6,500 people during events, a community sports complex and an entertainment district dubbed Stadium Village.

Construction began in October at the site off Vineyard Avenue and Riverside Drive in Ontario. The $151 million project is partially funded by $52 million in bond revenues and $1 million installments from the 2022 Measure Q sales tax increase .

The stadium is expected to open on April 2, 2026.
