Paint the town in all the shades of the rainbow as the French Quarter in particular celebrates SOUTHERN DECADENCE , the LGBTQIA+ marathon of parties, cocktails and parading wrapped in sequins and good times. "Etched in stone, Timeless and Decadent" is the theme for the festivities that culminate in a jubilant walking parade Sunday at 5 p.m. with a new route to skip the pipe-replacement project on Royal and St. Peter streets. It starts from its usual spot at Royal and Barracks streets and heads Uptown, with modifications along the way for the pipes. Get in on the update fun here.
