The grand opening of Cornwall’s new fire services headquarters in the northwest end of the city was celebrated on Wednesday.
Designed to serve the community for the next 50 years, the modern facility, located at Brookdale Avenue and Tollgate Road West, broke ground for the $17.3-million construction project back in spring of 2023 . With the construction now complete, Cornwall Fire Services personnel will transition into the space over the next few weeks, moving vehicles and equipment to the site as needed.
