OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Oklahoma Attorney General Drummond announced on Thursday, State Rep. Burns has pleaded guilty and been sentenced for domestic abuse and assault.

According to Drummond's Office, State Rep. Ty Burns received a one-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty to one misdemeanor count of domestic abuse and two misdemeanor counts of assault.

Prosecutors charged 46-year-old Burns for November 2024 and April 25, 2025, incidents involving family members, the AG's office said.
