The New Orleans sludge metal acts Eyehategod and Crowbar brought the Louisiana mugginess and heavy riffs to Club Dada on Wednesday evening to a more-than-ready crowd .

Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein commented to concertgoers that the audiences in Dallas have always been great , even since touring with Pantera in the '80s. Indeed, the crowd did not disappoint, even with the humidity permeating throughout the pit.

It’s the perfect pairing for a rowdy response: two New Orleans bands born from the same metal scene in the late '80s and early '90s.
