Dallas-based AT&T Inc. is recalibrating its real estate footprint in North Texas and weighing potential moves that could dial up the telecom giant’s presence in the suburbs — perhaps at the cost of its footprint in the heart of the region’s largest city.
AT&T has toured large office sites in the suburbs, according to multiple sources. That includes a 1.8 million-square-foot corporate campus called The Park at Legacy in Plano. The 107-acre mixed-use campus at 6501 Legacy Dr. is currently home to the headquarters of JCPenney but is undergoing a major redevelopment of its office space, with future additions of housing and retail planned.
