ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A home and vehicle in south Abilene engulfed in flames Thursday afternoon.

First responders arrived at the scene and found a home and vehicle on the 300 block of S Mockingbird Lane involved in a large fire around 3:30 p.m.

The fire at the vehicle was quickly contained and firefighters are working on the house from the outside due to the extend of the fire.

Initial reports indicate everyone did make it out of the residence safely.

No further information, including the possible cause of this fire, is available at this time.
