Students at Mellichamp Elementary School are stepping into the new school year with confidence thanks to a donation from the Boys & Girls Club on Cannon Bridge Road.

The Club recently gifted Mellichamp students with brand-new shoes and school uniform shirts, ensuring they are ready for a successful start to the year.

"We are so grateful to the Boys & Girls Club for their kindness and generosity," said Dr. LaToya Glen, principal of Mellichamp Elementary School.

"For many of our students, having new shoes and uniform shirts means walking into school with pride and a sense of belonging. This gift is about more than clothing; it's about showing our children that their community believes in them and wants to see them succeed," Glen said.
