A Michigan man who was a guest at a pool party where he allegedly stabbed four people, two of them fatally, has been charged with murder.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office announced in a press release that Daiwan Lemane Hopson, 31, had been arrested and charged in connection with a violent stabbing incident on Aug. 9 that left two people dead. According to Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy, an altercation between Hopson and an unnamed 40-year-old man escalated in the backyard of the home of 31-year-old Jakirea Williams. As the altercation heated up, Hopson allegedly "produced a knife" and stabbed the 40-year-old man several times.
