TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The owner of a now-closed Sarasota-based window company and subject of an ongoing Better Call Behnken investigation has been arrested for the second time this month.

This time, Todd Hoch was charged by the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office with 27 fraud counts, including embezzlement and misappropriation of funds. He is being held without bond.

This arrest follows an arrest earlier this month on similar charges in Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte.

Customers in Manatee, Sarasota, and Charlotte counties complained that Hoch's company, Sash & Sill, collected large down payments and didn't deliver. The company abruptly closed in summer 2024.
