MINNEAPOLIS — Officials revealed additional details about Wednesday’s mass shooting at Annunciation Church, while city, state and federal leaders pushed for gun control Thursday afternoon.

Two children were killed and 18 others were injured in the shooting at the Catholic school and church in south Minneapolis. A dozen of the injured remained hospitalized — at least two in critical condition, according to Thursday morning updates from Hennepin County Medical Center and Children’s Minnesota-Minneapolis Hospital.

Minneapolis Police, along with state and federal law enforcement partners, held a press conference Thursday afternoon to provide updates on the investigation and announce an additional victim, bringing the total injured to 18.
