MONTREAL - Hockey Hall of Famer Caroline Ouellette will be a full-time assistant coach for the Montreal Victoire in the upcoming Professional Women’s Hockey League season, the team announced Thursday.

Ouellette had already featured on head coach Kori Cheverie’s coaching staff on a part-time basis for the past two seasons while serving as associate head coach of the Concordia University Stingers.

A four-time Olympic gold medallist with the Canadian women’s national team, the 46-year-old from Montreal was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and IIHF Hall of Fame in 2023.

In 2008, Ouellette won an NCAA national championship as an assistant coach with the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs.

At Concordia, she guided the Stingers women’s team to U Sports titles in 2022 and 2024.
