Mayor Eric Adams’ administration has moved ahead with a controversial rule change that will increase the share working families with housing vouchers will have to pay in rent.

The change affects CityFHEPS, a rental assistance program used by tens of thousands of New Yorkers who have been homeless or at risk of losing housing.
