The prime suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, Christian Brueckner, could be released from prison in as little as two weeks, it has been claimed. ‌

The German paedophile is serving a seven-year sentence for raping a pensioner, due to end on September 17. But reports from Portugal suggest he could walk free up to 10 days earlier, reports the Mirror. ‌

However, Christian Brueckner’s defence team have denied claims that the prime suspect in the Maddie McCann case will be back on the streets in a fortnight. ‌
