DENVER (KDVR) — More showers and below normal temperatures are in Denver's weather forecast for Friday and into the start of the holiday weekend.

Weather tonight: Showers ending

Showers will move out Thursday evening ahead of clearing Thursday night. Low temperatures will fall to the 50s.

Weather tomorrow: Afternoon rain and storm chances

Friday will start off with sunshine, followed by the chance for a few showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will climb to the upper 70s, which is about 5 degrees cooler than normal for this time of year.
