RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) — It's been five years since two women were viciously gunned down in Riverside.
Riverside Police say they have an idea who they're looking for, but can't move forward with prosecution because they need more evidence.
"This this wasn't a random act of violence," says Riverside Police Det. Stephen Ritchie.
Around 3 a.m. on Aug. 22, 2020, police were called to the Riverside Commons Apartments on Tidewater Drive and Harshman Road on reports of gunshots. When police got there, they found 27-year-old Taprice Goodwin shot in the driver's seat of a car. Police say her passenger, 27-year-old Ariana Middlebrook, ran from the car, was chased, and was shot several times.
Surveillance video tracked two Dodge Chargers to a nearby gas station, and police released pictures of pe
