DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- Kings Island revealed Thursday what's replacing Boo Blasters on Boo Hill.

According to the amusement park, "Phantom Theater: Opening Nightmare" will open for guests in April 2026. In the indoor dark family experience, 26 interactive scenes are visible to riders.

Boo Blasters on Boo Hill is the location where the new ride will be. The original Phantom Theater also operated at the same site from 1992 to 2002.

Tony Carovillano, park manager of Kings Island, said the new attraction is what a lot of guests have wanted.
