State Route 67 opened at noon between the US Highway 89A junction to milepost 605, ADOT said.
The highway will remain closed south of the Kaibab Lodge. Drivers will not have access to the North Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, which will be closed for the remainder of the 2025 visitor season due to the impact of the fire.
Fire crews are still working to fully suppress the Dragon Bravo Fire, which will cause them to remain in the areas where SR 67 reopened, according to ADOT. That means drivers need to follow all signs and instructions to help keep the crews and other drivers safe.
