Edmonton police on Thursday released pictures of a man involved in an armed robbery of a convenience store in north Edmonton and are seeking the public’s assistance to identify him.
Police say the robbery happened on July 16, around 12:40 a.m., when a man entered a convenience store in the area of 66 Street and 157 Avenue with a handgun and robbed it. He then fled on foot eastbound toward 64 Street.
The suspect is described as between 5’9” and 6 feet tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black and orange winter jacket, black pants, white and black shoes, a grey face covering, and a grey baseball cap. He was armed with a black handgun.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
