A rescue in Jackson, Cheshire Abbey, rescued several dogs left after a warrant was served in south Jackson.
Capitol Police Flex Unit and the U.S. Marshals served a warrant in south Jackson and noticed three dogs inside of the home. They appeared to be neglected and abused. There were feces around the home.
The dogs appeared to have been abused, according to rescuers. One of the dogs had severe scarring and a serious mouth infection. Chrissy Cheshire, with Cheshire Abbey said this appeared to be a result of repeated fighting. When the dog is safe in Chrissy Cheshire’s car, you can see how timid and afraid the dog is. His face speaks 1000 words, even if he can’t actually say anything, and it is so heartbreaking.
