Soon no good deed will go unnoticed – and could even be rewarded. Lethbridge Police are once again bringing back ‘Operation Freeze’ in partnership with Circle K stores across the city.
The aim of the initiative is to interact with and reward the youth in Lethbridge who participate in acts of kindness and safety practices. Officers will hand out free Circle K Froster coupons to kids when they witness them performing good deeds.
The idea behind the program is for local police to enhance their community engagement and build positive experiences to influence residents. Operation Freeze is a Canada-wide positive ticketing program that first began in Ontario, collaboration with police and community engagement officers nationwide.
