WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB) - For the first time in its nearly 80 year history, Notre Dame High School in West Haven welcomed a co-ed class to school.
It has been an all-boys school since it opened in 1946.
Classes officially start next week, but the school welcomed incoming freshmen and transfer students with a celebration on Wednesday.
Students have orientation today and tomorrow.
