Alberta RCMP are looking for a man who reportedly tried to offer a 12-year-old boy a ride on Wednesday afternoon.

Mounties say the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 27 at the Wabamun Provincial Park.

It is believed a man who was driving a white van with dark windows and the words “Plumbing &” written on the side offered the boy a ride and asked if he was cold and lost.

A nearby bystander was flagged down by the boy and stayed with him until the man left.

Police are looking to speak to the man who was driving the van and the bystander who stayed with the boy.

A composite sketch has been released and the man has been described at in his 40s with a fair complexion, blue eyes, around 6’3″, around 200lbs, brown hair, and a long brown beard. At the time, he was wearing a black t-sh
