WATSONVILLE — Those who have traveled up Green Valley Road outside Watsonville’s city limits have likely noticed some recent changes, including new bus shelters, a multi-use trail with improvements for cyclists and pedestrians, and some colorful new artwork.

The Santa Cruz County Department of Community Development and Infrastructure recently completed its Green Valley Road Multi-Use Trail Project and celebrated Thursday with a short ceremony at Pinto Lake County Park and a ribbon-cutting near one of the new bus stops and art installations across from Mesa Village County Park.
