Princess Stéphanie of Luxembourg is warming up for her new role. Come October, her husband, Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg , will accede to the throne of the tiny European country, inheriting the title of Grand Duke from his father, Henri. As the new First Lady, or Grand Duchess, of Luxembourg, Stéphanie will be following in some very well-heeled footsteps, no doubt learning the tricks of the trade from her mother-in-law, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa , who has held the title for the past 25 years. A new portrait of the future Grand Ducal couple certainly suggests so, with Stéphanie wearing a set of heirloom jewels to symbolise her new royal role.
