Baltimore will see more residents learning how to use naloxone and stocking up on the overdose prevention drug as the city prepares to launch the Naloxone Neighbors campaign in the coming weeks.
The Naloxone Neighbors campaign will expand access to naloxone and show residents how and when to use it to stop overdoses in the home. Mayor Brandon Scott announced the initiative Thursday during the International Overdose Awareness Day Resource Fair at ABC Park.
Scott said the campaign will focus on overdoses in residential neighborhoods, with community organizations leading the effort.
