RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Residents in one Blythewood-area neighborhood tell WIS that they’re concerned after multiple homes have recently been hit by stray bullets.
Those neighbors and the Richland County Sheriff’s Department believe they’re coming from a nearby private property used as a shooting range.
The situation has left residents of “The View” in fear.
“You could be upstairs, come downstairs, and find a loved one on the floor and not know what happened,” said Angela Jones, who lives in the neighborhood.
Another resident, Patrick Thomas, came home to find a bullet hole in his house.
“I went out around the deck, really just to look out in the woods and see if I could see anything,” he said. “When I turned around, I saw the bullet hole that had hit my house.”
