(FOX40.COM) — On Monday, Butte County deputies conducted a traffic stop, which resulted in the arrest of a 45-year-old man on drug and weapon charges, according to the Butte County Sheriff's office. Video Above: States with the most strict DUI laws

Due to a vehicle code violation, Erik McNabb from Sutter Creek was stopped by deputies around Highway 162 and Forbestown Road in Oroville. One deputy noticed containers of alcohol on the front passenger floorboard area of the vehicle, which led to a search of the vehicle, BCSO said.

Officials said that in their search, deputies located a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue, methamphetamine, and brass knuckles. McNabb was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of brass knuckles.
