Two North Vancouver brothers and one coach helped Team B.C. hit gold in men’s baseball at the 2025 Canada Summer Games.

Twins Matthew and Jake McAdams suited up for the provincial team with Brooks McNiven joining the coaching staff as the B.C. boys claimed top spot at the Games held Aug. 8-25 in St. John’s, N.L. Team B.C. claimed gold with a thrilling 3-2 win over Quebec in the championship final.

B.C. played eight games in seven days in St. John's, compiling a 6-2 record that included wins over Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and P.E.I., along with a pair of victories over Quebec. Jake manned first base in several games, collecting two hits and a run in the championship final, while Matthew pitched in relief for the team.
